Easter egg hunt 2012

What muddy-wet fun was had at little windwater farm today! Thank goodness for galoshes and raincoats. The squelchy mud was aplenty and is it really a true Seattle egg-hunt without rain? This was our second year attending this wonderful family run event in the green river valley and boy had the word got out, there were so many people!!

The boys had a ball running around hunting those eggs, they cleaned up!

Lots of eggs filled with lots of nasty American candy...eew!

Thomas was so excited when he found a penny in one, it was like he had won the lottery!

Thomas ended up with over 20 eggs...no messing around there!

Thomas and is victory sign! I'm hoping he will outgrow this pose soon, it will be nice to have a normal smilie pic again!

Boys raiding their stash!

Harry was more excited about finding blue eggs than all ha came across, he didn't end up with as many but he was plenty happy all the same.

Harry and Thomas both found tickets in their eggs which gave them an extra prize...$$$ store junk, nothing makes a kid Happier!
It was great bumping into so many familiar faces too!

And I totally fell in love with their chickens....I want chickens!

Oh I love you chooks! Can't wait to have some pecking in my yard one day!

Posted via iPhone...love it!

Oh, for a Darrel Lea easter egg. Still I understand quantity as well as quality.
Are you sure you want chook poop being walked into your house??!!
Maybe when you move to your farm would be the right time.
Then you can have all the animals you want. Maybe some alpacas too.
